Kindergarten is a year of play, exploration, and discovery of multiple things around a child’s environment where visible progress can be seen in Science, Reading, Language Arts, and numbers. At Fountain International School, children are engaged, motivated, and developed at their own rates, and in their own ways. Fountain incorporates a statutory framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). It’s a standard requirement for all early years providers to ensure children learn, develop well, and are kept healthy and safe. The EYFS promotes teaching and learning which ensures school readiness to equip students with a broad range of knowledge and skill set for a bright future progression in both school and life.
The EYFS seeks to provide these four pedestals of learning:
